Effective date: 01.01.2026

1. Scope

These Print Services Terms and Media Use govern all 3D printing services provided by Ginger Additive S.R.L.S. (“Ginger Additive”), including but not limited to test prints, service prints, prototypes, demonstration prints, and other printed objects (“Printed Outputs”), based on files, models, or objects supplied by the client or designer (“Client”).

These Terms apply irrespective of whether the printing service is charged, discounted, or provided under special conditions.

2. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the supplied designs, files, and resulting Printed Outputs remain exclusively with the Client or the respective rights holder.

No ownership, copyright, design rights, or commercialization rights are transferred to Ginger Additive.

Ginger Additive does not acquire the right to sell, license, or otherwise commercially exploit the designs or Printed Outputs.

3. Rights Warranty and Indemnification

The Client represents and warrants that it owns or controls all necessary rights to the supplied content and that the content does not infringe third-party rights, including copyright, design rights, trademarks, or patents.

The Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Ginger Additive from any third-party claims arising from the supplied content or from a breach of this warranty.

4. Media and Documentation Rights

The Client grants Ginger Additive a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free right to:

  • photograph and film the printing process and resulting Printed Outputs
  • use images and videos of Printed Outputs for marketing, documentation, educational, and communication purposes

Permitted uses include, but are not limited to:

  • Ginger Additive website and webshop
  • social media channels
  • presentations, fairs, exhibitions, brochures, newsletters, and similar materials

Permitted edits include cropping, resizing, compression, subtitles, overlays, and watermarking, provided the use is not misleading.

Original design files (e.g. STL, STEP, CAD source files) are explicitly excluded from this permission and will never be shared or published without separate written agreement.

5. Anonymization and Credits

By default, Printed Outputs and related media may be published in anonymized form.

Where reasonably possible and if requested by the Client, Ginger Additive will credit the designer, brand, or company as indicated by the Client.

Credit preferences must be communicated at the time of request.

6. Material and Technology Partners

The Client acknowledges that Ginger Additive may collaborate with material manufacturers or technology partners.

Images and videos of Printed Outputs may be shared with such partners solely for demonstration, marketing, or educational purposes.

No design files, source data, or commercialization rights are transferred to such partners.

7. Demonstration Copies

Unless explicitly agreed otherwise, Ginger Additive may produce one additional physical copy of a Printed Output solely for internal demonstration purposes, including showrooms, fairs, exhibitions, and presentations.

Such copies may not be sold or otherwise commercially exploited.

8. Optional Limitations

The Client may request reasonable limitations, including:

  • temporary embargo until a specified date
  • exclusion of sensitive details, measurements, or angles

Such limitations must be communicated in writing at the time of request and are subject to feasibility.

9. Removal Requests

The Client may request discontinuation of future use of Printed Output media by contacting Ginger Additive.

Ginger Additive will remove the media from channels under its direct control within a reasonable time, acknowledging that removal from third-party platforms or caches may not always be immediate.

These Terms are governed by Italian law.

Exclusive jurisdiction lies with the Court of Milan, Italy.
